Adults ONLY Comedy Berlin is the production label of comedian, Anna Beros, known for producing English language stand-up comedy shows in Berlin, and for the podcast by the same name. Anna is starting a new short form series for social media, to showcase the Berlin comedy scene and its beloved subcultural venues.
*Role Description*
The Videographer/Camera Person/Assistant Producer will be responsible for the video recording of this project. The project involves 1 - 2 hours onsite in Kreuzberg on Tuesdays between 8pm and 11pm. Recording may be from 8 - 9pm or from 10:30pm - 11:30pm, so before or after the show, Back Door Comedy. Video recording equipment provided, but you're welcome to use your own.
The responsibilities can expand according to the candidate's interest.
The minimum level of responsibility is to be on set on time, to start and stop the camera recording, to ensure the scene and speakers are in focus and to monitor battery levels. This is an unpaid internship, but remuneration can be negotiated.
If the candidate is interested in learning and developing their video editing skills, training will be provided and remuneration can be negotiated.
If the candidate shows interest in assisting as an assistant producer, this can also be discussed.
Qualifications
* A love of comedy - experience in the comedy scene is a plus but not necessary
* Honest and clear communication skills and a positive friendly attitude
* Time-management skills - punctuality is non-negotiable
* An interest in videography, including operating cameras and setting up equipment - experience is a plus
* Familiarity with social media platforms and strategies for engaging video content
* Fluent enough in English to understand instructions
