It includes 6 weeks of preparation in Berlin, followed by a 9-week internship in Austria Linz, and an 8-week follow-up phase back in Berlin.
Who can participate:
Young adults aged 18 to 30 who live in Berlin and are currently unemployed and not in education or training and who struggle to find a job on the job market.
IMPORTANT: Most of the time we do not accept people with a bachelor’s or master’s degree, as their chances to get a job are pretty high.
The project is suitable for you if you:
are between 18 and 30 years old
currently unemployed or looking for work or vocational training
live in Berlin
are looking for a new career
are interested in gaining experience abroad
- The expenses for the flights, accommodation, health insurance, and public transport are covered by the program for the time aboard.
- Participants get 110€ per week during the 2 months aboard to cover daily expenses such as groceries.
- Participants need to be registered as a job seeker (arbeitssuchend) at the Berlin Job Center or Arbeitsagentur and get their permission to participate in case they get unemployment benefit.
Preparation:
6 weeks in Berlin /Starting now until 13.04.2026
- Individual support with career orientation and internship selection
- Recording your skills profile
- Language course
- Intercultural preparation and group workshops to promote social, personal and digital skills
Internship abroad / 13.04. to 12.06.2026
9 weeks in Austria
Company internship and insight into the sector
Weekly meetings with the partner organization
Documentation of experience and skills
Cultural excursions and accommodation with the group
Follow-Up
8 weeks in Berlin
Reflect on your stay abroad
Shape your professional future with workshops and application training in the group
Coaching and individual support with application processes
Certificate and reference.
