We’re looking for a shift manager/ leader, at our cafe, brunch restaurant, deli and catering business, located in the heart of Berlin's vibrant Tiergarten / Mitte area.
We serve breakfast, lunch and brunch with strong Persian/ middle eastern influences. Our food is fresh, vibrant, colourful and always delicious. We believe in harmony and synergy when it comes to service, and are all about a good flow where everyone helps one another to provide the best possible experience for our guests.

The job would be part time - 3-4 days, depending on what the applicant prefers.
Some of your responsibilities would include:
Ensuring that service runs smoothly and overseeing opening and closing of the cafe.
Closely working with our barista, the kitchen and the rest of the service team to ensure a good flow.
Inventory and stock management.
Managing phone inquiries and customer queries.
Assist with catering orders and deliveries.
The ideal candidate would:
Be fluent in English and be confident in German.
Be able to cope with stressful situations and busy and bustling environments.
Be able to confidently lead a team.
See the details and go above and beyond just ‘doing the job’.
Easily build a rapport with our customers and successfully navigate difficult situations and de-escalate customer complaints.
Be a team player who is able to take initiative and contribute to our ever evolving business.
Have at least 1-2 years experience in front-of-house at a similar style establishment, and have held similar positions previously.
Be someone who is happy to take the lead and knows how and when to delegate.
Be a natural problem solver who is solutions-oriented and able to see the bigger picture when things get stressful.
Have a drivers license and is not shy about using it.
