Songs for Rights is looking for a motivated and proactive Erasmus+ trainee to join our international team in Berlin and support projects connecting music, human rights, youth participation, and social impact across Europe.
This traineeship is ideal for someone passionate about music, social impact, youth work, communication, human rights, or Erasmus+, and eager to gain practical experience in an entrepreneurial and international environment.
We are looking for someone curious, motivated, creative, and ready to take initiative.
About Songs for Rights
Songs for Rights is a social impact initiative using the power of music to promote human rights, participation, inclusion, and positive social change.
Through Erasmus+ projects, international youth exchanges, creative campaigns, trainings, and partnerships across Europe, we connect music with youth empowerment and civic engagement.
We are a small, multicultural, and committed team working at the intersection of music, social innovation, education, and international cooperation.
What You Will Do
Communications & Outreach
• Support social media and digital communication
• Help create newsletters and email communication
• Create visual content (Canva or similar tools)
• Support basic video editing and storytelling
• Communicate with partners and network members across Europe
Erasmus+ Projects & International Collaboration
• Support the preparation and coordination of Erasmus+ mobility activities and international projects
• Assist with participant communication and logistics
• Support dissemination and follow-up activities
Research & Project Development
• Research funding opportunities and partnerships
• Support project development and proposal writing
• Contribute to fundraising and strategic development
Innovation & Social Impact
• Support the development of Team Jam, an innovative initiative combining music, team-building, and social impact
Who We Are Looking For
Required
• Eligible for an Erasmus+ traineeship grant (or equivalent internship funding programme)
• Based in Berlin or able to relocate to Berlin during the traineeship
• Good command of English (German is not required)
• High motivation and willingness to take initiative
• Interest in music, social impact, human rights, youth work, communication, or international cooperation
• Comfortable working in a small, multicultural, and entrepreneurial team
• Experience with social media, Canva, newsletters, or video editing
• Interest in Erasmus+ or international youth projects
• Basic graphic design - & video editing skills
• Interest in project development, fundraising, or proposal writing
